I’ve used Sage & Cedar products for a couple years and always loved them, so this was a huge letdown. I ordered the Hydrating Mist (pomegranate + vitamin E) I had the peach tea rose and the scent I received is honestly unusable. The bottle is still completely full because I refuse to put it on my skin or my clothes again.
The mist doesn’t smell like pomegranate, hydrating botanicals, or anything remotely fresh. It smells exactly like sour, damp towels that have been left sitting too long that stale, musty, almost mildewy scent that sticks to your fingers if you touch them. That’s the smell this spray leaves on my face, my clothes, everything. I can’t wear it, and I definitely won’t gift it to anyone. For the price $$, this should not be happening. Something is clearly off with the scent or the batch, and it’s disappointing because I used to drive to Whitefish to hand-pick these. Now I had it shipped and it arrived with a rancid smell. I really wanted to love this, but this bottle is going straight down the drain because I can’t use it. I will not be asking for a refund back because I simply will not be purchasing from the store again.
