Mountain Madness makes all of their soap using the cold process (CP) method which utilizes lye to convert vegetable fats into soap and glycerin. This is the old fashioned method of making soap from "scratch" and you will not find any melt and pour bases in their soap bars.  They continue to make soap in small batches which gives them the ability to add artistry to each bar and stay true to what makes their soap unique.
